Exercise & Nutrition Science Researcher,
Hi there, my name is Zach MacDonald, I received my Master’s Degree from the University of Tampa in Exercise and Nutrition Science. I’m a bodybuilder in the National Physique Committee (NPC), the largest amateur bodybuilding organization in the world, as a Classic Physique and Men’s Open Bodybuilding competitor. I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, as well as having spent many hours in the Human Performance Laboratory at my university working on various study designs and upcoming projects.

So what’s my goal in all of this?
Unfortunately, there’s a lot of B.S information out there, both online and in the real world. Yes, everybody has different perspectives and everybody is their own, unique individual, I respect that. However, some people misguide others with unproven and outright outlandish information that has absolutely no evidence to back it up. The fitness industry can be a daunting place, filled with misinformation and those simply looking to make a quick buck off of the uneducated and misguided.
What I hope to accomplish here is to help you sift through the garbage and get to the good stuff. What ACTUALLY works. What will help you to make significant changes in YOUR life, not in the life of somebody else. I want you to achieve optimal results in your health both physiologically (physically) and psychologically (mentally/emotionally). My academic, professional, and personal experiences are here to help you do just that.
